The Atlantic Beach Arts Market, Atlantic Beach, Florida

About seven years ago, Gloria and Chelsea Moore and Chelsea's husband Jeff, purchased and create an Art Coop to feature local artists. The market sits on 1805 Mayport Road, in Atlantic Beach. The Arts Market connects Atlantic Beach with Mayport as a community that encompasses the American Legion, Dunten Island, the Naval Base, and historic Mayport Village. Over 90 artists participate in the coop. Jewelry, Fine Art, Antiques, Sewing, Woodwork, Candles, Pottery and Clay, Glasswork, Resin, Weaving, as well as Scotie Cousin's famous critters, and more blend sea life and beach life. The Market is open from 10-5 seven days a week. Artists work and offer classes at the Art Market. Several times a year the market provides refreshments and artists give demonstrations for the community.

During the August 2025 Open House at the Atlantic Beach Arts Market, I was painting a 45" panel when Gary Mack joined me. We finished it together. What fun to share the event.
